Hi my name is Janice and I’m raising funds for my 3 years old son Tony’s Cancer Treatment.

Two days before Tony’s 3rd birthday on the 27th May 2022, we took him to the doctors because his Daddy found a lump on the right side of my tummy. After having bloods taken, x-ray and an ultrasound, the doctors told us that he had a tumour in his liver.

On his 3rd Birthday we went to see a special doctor (Oncologist. He had a CT scan and a biopsy done and the results came back as a Cancer Tumour called ‘Hepatoblastoma’ which is a rare and aggressive form of childhood cancer originating in the liver.

Currently Tony is on Chemotherapy. The hospital is very far from where we live. We travel there 3 days a week for his treatment and during chemo session we have to live there for 3 days.

The only cure for this type of cancer is a Liver transplant which is very expensive. The financial strain on our family to pay for Tony’s medication, cost of living for at least 12 months as his treatment will take a year. We have had to leave our jobs to care for our son.
